“我们希望通过马华为党员中18至35岁的女性提供发挥所长的平台，让女青年在政治与各领域都能占据一席之位。

本届女青年着重于 扩大组织和培训两大计划。

我们感谢妇女组通过修改细则提供女青年直接参与各级领导的机会，根据目前已修改的妇女组细则，妇女组在票选中委中保留了两个中委的配额给35岁以下的女青年竞选，然后在各州、各区会和各支会，也都同样保留了一些配额给35岁以下的青年。

现任马华妇女组主席拿汀巴杜卡周美芬更特别在本届中委会中保留了四个中委职，供35岁以下的女青年，目前已委任李淑芳及梁湘棱填补了两个空缺。除此也特别安排6位女青年成为受邀中委，这提供了女青年直接参与最高决策与学习的机会，也做到了赋权，真正的赋权！让我们有机会承担责任，发挥所长。”

“We hope to provide young women a platform through MCA to develop their potential and be adequately represented in every area.

The current Beliawanis leadership focuses our attention on two aspects, namely expansion of its organization and provision of training.

We would like to thank Wanita MCA for the amendment to its rules which enables members of Beliawanis’ direct participation at various levels of leadership in Wanita MCA. In accordance with the amended rules of Wanita MCA, two members of the national Central Committee are reserved for Beliawanis members below the age of 35 by election. Similar posts are set aside for women below the age of 35 at divisional and branch levels in all states.

In the current Central Committee, YB Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun has reserved four seats for Beliawanis. Recently Lee Shook Fong and Rose Leong have been appointed, filling up two of the four seats allocated for Beliawanis. Six Beliawanis members have been invited to join the Committee. This provides not only an opportunity for Beliawanis members to directly learn and participate in policy making process at Wanita MCA’s highest level but also represents a true delegation of power to Beliawanis members so that they are given a chance to take on responsibility and demonstrate their ability.”
