妇女组强烈反对含不良意识和歧视女性意味的广告！

在马华妇女组的强烈抗议下，P1W1MAX无线宽频服务公司“你割咗未啊！”电台及电视台各语文广告经已全面停播，并以新的版本取代。

马华妇女组主席拿汀巴杜卡周美芬对最近出现在市场的P1W1MAX公司“你割咗末啊！”电台及电视台广告内容，带有严重的性暗示和歧视女性的意味，代表马华妇女组表达了强烈的抗议，并呼吁立即停播，否则将号召全体妇女杯葛她们的宽频服务"

马华妇女组认为，广告可以有创意，但马华妇女组绝对无法通融及接受带有色情与性暗示，尤其是带有歧视妇女，引起妇女感觉受辱的内容。

这是马华妇女组继2007年针对当时的一个KFC电台广告提出强烈抗议后，再次针对歧视女性或不健康内容的广告作出强烈抗议。除此，由于发现目前市场不断出现以女性躯体为广告号召和类似歧视性的广告，马华妇女组已发函予内政部长及其所管辖的电检局，希望该部门密切留意广告内容，以制止类似广告的播放，同时也计划在近期内拜访电检局，表达我们的看法！

“Cut Already?” ad withdrawn amid strong objection by Wanita MCA

The various language versions of the radio and TV commercial “Cut Already?” by broadband provider P1WiMAX have been retracted under the strong objection by Wanita MCA. The ad will be replaced with a new version.

Wanita MCA has voiced its strong objection to the ad which is filled with sexual innuendo and discriminatory against women. It has demanded that the ad be withdrawn immediately and threatened to rally women to boycott the company’s broadband service.

We are of the view that advertisements could be as creative as they could but Wanita MCA cannot condone advertisements whose contents are vulgar or contain sexual innuendo, in particular advertisements which are discriminatory towards women or arouse their discomfort.

This is the second time that Wanita MCA voices its strong objection to a radio and TV commercial since 2007 when it expressed its strong disagreement to a radio commercial by KFC. In addition, in view of the increasing publication of advertisements exploiting the female body or discriminating the female gender, Wanita MCA has written to the Home Minister and the National Film Censorship Board to keep a close watch on the contents of advertisements to prohibit the publication of such advertisements. Wanita MCA also plans to have a meeting with the censorship board to convey its stand on this matter.
