招揽青年 培育青年

计划重点：培养未来领导人才，发掘对国家社会有使命感的栋梁，妇女组重视及肯定青年的参与，为青年提供友善的参政环境。

青年是富有朝气、勇于创新的群体，是积极向上、奋发有为的一代。作为马华妇女组的重要生力军，女青年高扬光辉的旗帜，积极响应妇女组的建设及改革。

Recruitment and Nurturing of Beliawanis

Thrust of Plan: The political participation by young people should be duly recognized and appreciated. Hence, we place great importance on recognising young women who are patriotic to the country and society; and cultivate them in a conducive and positive environment enabling them to participate actively in politics.

The young generation is a dynamic, energetic, innovative and aggressive. As an important new force of Wanita MCA, Beliawanis actively responds to the construction and reforms initiated by the women’s wing.

立足新起点，创造新辉煌

女青年肩负着组织、引导和服务青年的职责。2009年3月14日，新届全国女青年执委会在我党总会长拿督斯里翁诗杰部长和全国妇女组主席拿汀巴杜卡周美芬副部长的见证下宣誓就职。

新时代要求新内容，新方式，才能开拓新成就。迎合时下青年趋势，女青年站在科技的前线，于2009年3月14日推出女青年网络部落格及上载系列宣传片段至 Youtube，与青年建立无障碍友善沟通平台。

Setting a new starting point to create new heights of excellence

Beliawanis is entrusted with the duty of organizing, guiding and leading the youths. The new Beliawanis Executive Committee was sworn in on 14 March 2009 witnessed by Party President YB Dato’ Sri Ong Tee Keat and Wanita MCA National Chairman YB Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun.

The new era requires new contents and new approach in order to be in the lead. To cater to the prevailing needs of the younger generation, Beliawanis leads the way in technological pursuit. The Beliawanis blog was launched on 14 March 2009 and a series of publicity videos was uploaded on Youtube. These initiatives were aimed at establishing a seamless platform for communication with young people.

身为新时代知识分子，女青年关心政治，心系时事、国事、天下事，在补选中成为妇女组的后援力量，展现女性的团结力量，与国阵联盟紧密合作。

地球村使各国互动频密，交互影响增加。拥有国际化的观点、培养国际才能、融入国际社会，成为新时代俊才的重要指标。2009年6月11日，女青年与基督教女青年会 (YWCA) 的世界会长Susan Brennan 及马来西亚会长 Josephine Chua 进行交流，针对招收会员及保温工作分享经验。

Increasing political awareness to face challenges
As a new intellectual force, Beliawanis, is interested in politics; current events; national and world issues. Beliawanis plays a supportive role to Wanita MCA, for example during by-elections, demonstrating women solidarity and closeco-operation with BN component parties.

The era of global village has resulted in increased frequency of interaction and corresponding impacts among nations. Global outlook, international talent, and integration with the international community have become important attributes of professionals and talents in the new age. On 11 June 2009, Beliawanis dialogued with Susan Brennan, President of the World Young Women Christian Association (YWCA) and Josephine Chua, President of Malaysia YWCA to exchange views on recruitment of members and other related areas.

掌握经济命脉，青年创业自强
Enterprising youths keeping abreast with economic development

今天社会，唯一不变的真理就是变化。女青年走向知识经济时代，于2009年1月19日假马华大厦视听室，邀请来自英国的讲师 Dr Ted Jones 主讲“From Cold, Wet Fish to Sushi”行销讲座会，获得超过五百人的出席，反应热烈，全场爆满。

Today’s world is ever changing. To keep abreast in the knowledge-based economy, Beliawanis organized a marketing seminar titled “From Cold, Wet Fish to Sushi” at the Auditorium at Wisma MCA on 19 January 2009. The seminar aimed to provide an insight to participants on how to ride through the economic crisis by enhancing competitive edge through excellent customer service. Over 500 people attended the seminar.

青年是知识、科技、文化的承载者，是开创国家新里程的建设者，是国家的栋梁。女青年鼓励青年善用政府资源创业，从2009年5月开始与马青及八大华青联办15场由青年及体育部主催的《青年创业基金全国巡回讲座会》，获得各族青年的踊跃出席，反应鼓舞。

Youths as inheritors of knowledge, science and technology, and culture are engineers of the nation’s new journey and pillars of nations. Beliawanis encourages youths to take advantage of the entrepreneurial resources offered by the government. In this respect, Beliawanis collaborated with MCA Youth and the Youth Sections of Eight Chinese Clan Associations in the organizing of a total of 15 national roadshows on the Youth Entrepreneurial Fund sponsored by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The roadshows received encouraging response from youths of the various ethic communities.

The organizers also invited a successful entrepreneur Dr. Jeffrey Goh to share his business experience with the participants in addition to talks on loan application by relevant government officials

关怀社会，责无旁贷

庆祝国际妇女节，女青年于2009年8月22日，在巴生人民公园举办“同心同力健康行”系列活动，传达打击性暴力的讯息。推介礼兼智力竞走活动，获得约250人参与。

过后紧接于9月12日及27日举办《女性防性侵犯（强奸心理学）》讲座会及工作坊，由黄国辉博士主讲。获得热烈回响，参与人数满额。

Duty bound to care for the community
Beliawanis organised a walkathon and launched a series of anti-crime activities with the theme “Healthy Life towards a Healthy Society” in Taman Rakyat, Klang on 22 August 2009. Approximately 250 people participated in the event. Beliawanis hosted a forum and workshop respectively on12 and 27 of September 2009 on how to prevent sexual assault through understanding the psychology of rape conducted by Dr. Wong Kok Fye. The activities were well received with overwhelming attendance at the workshop.
