外籍配偶及孩子是我国人民的家庭成员，是社会的一部分，应享有居留，就业与学习等公民权力!

外籍太太在申请延长签证时，必须仰赖丈夫充当担保人，对于一些不幸的外籍太太，这造成她们必须忍受丈夫的无理对待，甚至被迫与子女分离，孩子也深受影响，没有身份证，无法证明国籍争取公民应有的权益。马华妇女组欢迎内政部长拿督希山慕丁解决国内公民权问题的决心，以体现大马政府实践平等及杜绝歧视的人道主义精神。

Non-citizen spouses and children should enjoy rights of residence, employment and education as citizens

When a non-citizen wife applies for a visa extension, she must rely on her husband as a guarantor. Due to such dependence, some unfortunate non-citizen wives may have to endure her husband's unreasonable treatment, and some are even forced to separate from their children. Children of such parents are adversely affected. Without Malaysian identity cards they are unable to prove their nationality and secure entitlements which they rightly deserve as citizens. In this respect, MCA Wanita welcomes the Minister of Home Affairs Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein's determination to resolve the problem of citizenship to reflect the commitment of Malaysian government in upholding the principle of equality and non-discrimination. – Datin Paduka Chew Mei Funrimination. – Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun
